Decided on PEX Should I use Clamp or Expansion?

I have been trying to choose the PEX system I want to use. I don't have a lot of line to run but I was wondering which system is better and easier to use in tight places Clamps or Expansion (Wirsbo)? Thanks.

Wirsbo is easier to use in small spaces as you don't have to work the crimper in there. I also regard it as a superior system to the crimp rings. I can't make any promises on the quality of any pex system though.

Ok thanks. The tools seem to be the expensive part of Pex. I will probably go with Wirsbo since I can get the tool on Ebay for about the same as the crimping tool from Home Depot and most of the pros I spoke with like Wirsbo. Does anyone have experience with both? Thanks.

I've used both and you already have my opinion. The Wirsbo tool ($280) is a lot more expensive then the crimp tool ($90). You can buy the Wirsbo tool then sell it again and recoup most of your money but I'd hold onto it, it may come in handy in the future.

Do you know any of the inferior qualities the crimping system may have?
