Danze faucet....
I have not heard much about these, but really like the look of one for my kitchen. Anyone have any experience with this brand and offer up any info good or bad?
THis is the one I am looking at: D456720RB http://www.danze.com/products/images/D456720RB_md.jpg |
We had one in our condo (installed myself), and while it looked nice, it wasn't all-metal construction. However, it was reliable and never leaked at all, but the selector between stream and spray on the nozzle (like on yours in the pic) was getting slightly sloppy by the end, after about 2 years.
It's probably considered a mid-grade faucet (at least the one I had), but it's definitely no top of the line. |
UGH, that's not good.
What would be a recomendations for a higher line, better built faucet? |

Well, I got the faucet last night and will be calling today to return for a Price Pfister. It is good looking but upon closer inspection looks "cheap". As the saying goes, "Looks good from far, but far from good!"
The body does not feel like metal and mostly all part's are plastic. In addition, from it being in the packaging there are two "scrapes" on either side of the until. If this happen's while packaged, how well will it stand up over time. |
