What kind of 'connections' are you talking about? All plumbing pipe has to be connected at some point and rarely are there situations where a 'custom' connection has to be made.

I have seen a Video of a kit that converts a toilet to a bidet. There is a modified inlet vlave just below the toilet tank with an out let that feeds the bidet.
If you google Bidet and biffy youcan see it.
How does one get such products manufactured or ordered?

Most likely you can find that kit if you look for it or you can buy a toilet that does what you are looking for or spend a ton of money coming up with some thing that might work..

there are a lot of bidet toilet seats available out there. found this one on amazon in 5 sec. http://www.amazon.com/Brondell-S1000.../dp/B0045UB9GK. they all require a gfci outlet, and some require a hot water angle stop, but they're really easy to install (doesn't require any custom made fittings )

I am not inquiring the electrical part. I am inquiring about the tee below the tank that feeds both the tank as well as the water to the bidet.
This kit that can be added to exsisting toilets run about $50.
They are easy to fit but this part is not available in retail plumbing stores.
In other words-- If I had this idea, how would I get a manufacture to make such parts for me?

Patent the part, then go to Brass Craft or another manufacturer with your idea. Then watch the money roll in.
