The situation.
I have an unheated garage with drywall ceiling between the main supply lines in the finished basement and a hosebib that I need installed on the exterior wall.
Is there a way to install a ball valve and purge valve in the heated basement to make this work?
There would be no valves on the unheated side of the basement firewall.
If you wanted to use the hosebib you would go into the basement, turn the ball valve on, use the hose then turn the ball valve off and purge the water left in the copper line.
Ideas?
