I am in the midsts of planning the renovation for my guest bath and I am looking at installing a handmade copper sink. I know that mixing metals can cause problems and I was wondering if attaching a copper sink to your standard metal drain pipe would be an issue. I know some drain pipes are made of copper and some are not so I am just asking up front before I get started. Thanks.
i see no problems either way. i've seen steel sinks on copper drains, why would the opposite make any difference? lol
but i could be wrong, and if you do it, your home will explode in a nuclear blast!
You make a good point. Didn't really think of it that way, that part about steel sinks and copper drain pipes, not the nuclear blast part. Thanks for the helpful kick, er I mean tip.
not a problem. personally, i think the guys here, (and me) would like to see a photo of this custom made sink! post a pic! sounds nice!
