copper to ball valve


how do I solder in a ball valve to !/2 " copper? Won't that damage the plastic holder thing in the valve housing?

you clean pipe, use fitting brush on inside of valve apply paste heat up joint apply leadfree solder.....don't over heat valve...

copper to ball valve


And have the valve in the open position when soldering. A faster way is to just use a Shark Bite ball valve. That way the two just slip together.
