Converting a Washer Drain into a Sink Drain - A Head-Scratcher

I have an area in my small garage/apartment where a washing machine was once located. Iíd now like to put a kitchen sink there. You can see by the diagram below that the drain is unvented. Iím sure that isnít up to code for a kitchen sink (probably not for a washer either). My question is how should I vent this? My only option seems to be to go over to the main vent stack with a vent. BTW: The bottom horizontal drain line is under a concrete slab.

Hereís what I have:

Would this be OK?

Or should I do this?

your first choice will work
What program did you use to draw that? I like the shadow affect

Thanks for the reply. This drain going through the slab into the main drain line (not through the stack) had me a little confused.

I used Pixelmator (MAC) to draw the diagrams.
