converting kitchen single sink to a double sink

How intailed is it to convert a single kitchen sink to a double sink?

Are you installing a new counter top?

If using the existing top--what is it made of?

1. Shutoff and disconnect supply lines
2. Remove drain/trap from bottom of sink
3. Remove sink
4. Modify counter to fit/support new sink
5. Install new sink
6. Install continuous waste drain
7. Re-install trap below continous waste
(Modify drain from wall/floor as needed)
8. Reconnect supply lines
9. Turn on water at valves and test
10. Have a beer!

I'm converting a double to a single.
I hate double sinks... neither one is big enough.

Come by here in about a month and I'll give you mine.
