Continuous water flow into sump
All of a sudden, this morning, I noticed a continuous, fairly heavy flow of water into my sump. It's been dry the last week or so and, normally, no water would flow into it at all except when it rains. The ground outside around the house is dry and I don't hear any running water anywhere else. Does anyone have a clue what could be happening?
I do not notice a drop in water pressure. My backyard neighbor does have a pool. I put my hand in the water but do not smell chlorine. Looking at it over the fence, I don't see it draining down.
EDIT: So here it is, almost an hour later, and the water has slowed to a trickle, went back to heavy, and slowed to a trickle again, but should be dry.
