connect sewer to city sewer


I plan to build a new house, I will be my general contractor. one thing, i am not sure. i divide project in several stage: excavate, concrete, fill earth back, framing, ...... I know between concrete and fill earth back, we need connect sewer pipe to city sewer, and ask related company to bring water pipe and gas pipe , power to meter position. is that right? pleas help me.

connect sewer to city sewer


I assume you are in Edmonton, Alberta. You need to check with the local code enforcement official, since you are presumably getting a permit. The code official will almost certainly give you the names of the local utility companies, who will be happy to give you explicit directions as to how to hook up to their services, or else they will do the connection for you (at your expense of course). These are local issues, so unless someone on this forum lives very near you, you simply cannot get explicit answers here.
