Connect Chrome P-Trap to PVC Drain

My wife and I redid our powder room and are finished with exception of putting in our sink drain. We converted to a pedestal sink and would like to install a chrome drain similar to this Kohler model:

KOHLER K-9000-CP Adjustable P-trap with Tubing Outlet, 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" in Chrome
http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatal...02&retail=true

We have a regular PVC drain with a 1 1/2" ID, but it's just cut off clean at this time. I understand that the chrome tube gets inserted into the drain, but I don't know the best way to ensure a seal between the tube and the PVC drain. Do we need to glue a connector to the PVC or is there anything such as a compression fitting, etc. that can be used?

Thanks for the help!

Connect Chrome P-Trap to PVC Drain

Thank you, josall. It looks like all I need to do then is dry-fitting, then priming and cementing the adapter. I appreciate you.
