concrete sink help!

My husband and I, who are very new to home improvement, recently made a bathroom counter with inlaid sinks from concrete. Everything turned out great, however now that we hooked up the water we noticed that a little bit of water stays on the bottom of the sinks. It doesn't drain because the edges of the drain stick up just a little bit higher than the bottom of the sink. Is there some type of product that can level it out, maybe some typy of clear plastic that we could put around the drain to even things out??

Hope I explained this clearly!

thanks,
Nicole

Ayuh,...

I think that carving a pocket in the basin to accept the tail piece, would be better than flooding the low spots with epoxy...

Concrete can be carved with grinders like Dremils, Roto-zips, diegrindes, etc...

Concrete sink drain problem

I seen your post and do not claim to be a plumber or engineer but
what if you were to remove the drain and grind the entire surface down so the low spots are draining correctly

Hope you have luck with it
