Compressor side of winterizing

Hi, just trying to find out the procedure...(not too many variables I hope) of winterizing my property, not so much the drain side of things, but the hot and cold supplies....

I know it involves blowing out with a compressor but wanted to know the size of compressor that I would need to purchase (any recommendation would be great) and also the procedure of the blow out.

Many thanks

Any ol' compressor on the market should be more than enough to blow out water. You won't need much pressure or volume of air to complete this task.

I've never needed to drain a system 100% but if it were me I would simply sweat a spicket at the lowest point of the home and allow gravity to do the rest. Leave all the valves open and you shouldn't have any probs.

Thanks,

Do you know kind of pressure to set the compressor at and where to connect it?
