Commercial toilet installation

Looking to become proficient in commercial toilet installation at the plant. I'm in maintenance and have advised management to remodel restrooms to more modern toilets and faucets etc. and want to research these skills but don't know where to find info.

You need to look at Sloan's website and read some of their literature. Commercial toilets with flushometers are easy to install when after the first one. Kurby is another manufacture you can look into.

The term "commercial" is misleading. The only required difference I have seen between commercial and residential, as far as toilets, is the seat having an open front. Using Metered flush valves (Sloan valves) and heavy duty commodes is cost efficent as far as maintenance goes. I, personally, prefer wall mount for heavy use since cleaning the floor is much easier and the dirty water isn't "mopped" all over the base.
