Is a combo for a horizontal hard 90 ok?

horizontal to horizontal connection, and I would put a long sweep elbow and riser in the other "inlet" for a cleanout.

or is a long sweep elbow with the combo as cleanout before the hard 90?

not sure if that qualifies as "equivalent" by CA code...

706.1 Changes in direction of drainage piping shall be made by
the appropriate use of approved fittings and shall be of the angles
presented by a one-sixteenth (1/16) bend, one-eighth (1/8) bend,
or one-sixth (1/6) bend, or other approved fittings of equivalent
sweep.

Are you wanting to make a 90 degree turn in a horizontal line?
Use a long sweep 90 or double 45
If you need a clean out as well- then use a wye with a 45 on the wye branch to make the bend. Then add the clean out off the end of the wye.

Thanks Eplumber.
Yes, I want to make a 90 deg turn in the main line.
Is a wye with a 45 the same as a combo?

Yes it is. Although the actual dimensions will vary slightly between the 2 patterns.
