Combi Bolier Leaking From Over Flow

I have a Worcester Bosch 24CDI combi boiler. Whenever the heating is on the pressure builds up to approximately 3 bar and the boiler releases this pressure through the overflow. So after the heating has gone off, the pressure drops right down and has to be topped up before been able to use the heating or hot water otherwise I get all sorts of strange noises.

All of my radiators get hot and the hot water gets hot as it should do.

Has anybody any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks

The pressure vessel on the boiler has lost its charge
Locate it (hand book) it will have a shrider (sp) valve on it, open a bleed valve on a radiator (station someone here with a towel) charge the pressure vessel up with a bicycle pump or car foot pump to 1.5 bar and bobs you uncle close bleed valve and repressurise system with filling loop

I've done that and everything seems to be in working order. It was a bit of an awkward job as there were a few pipes in the way! Thanks dirkgently
