clogged sewer pipe

We have just replaced a section of pipe going from our toilet to the septic tank and it has backed up but slowly drains so we believe it has a clog but somewhere in the pipe between the new section and the tank, we have tried draino and plunger but still has not cleared...any tips?

Some more information and background may be useful:
  • Why was that section replaced?
  • Did you replace it yourself?
If for some reason you really feel it is a clog, you may need to rent a power snake and run it through a clean out beside your toilet. If no clean out port is available, remove the toilet, and run the snake in the line in the floor.

Before anything, though, some more information would help.

Did it back up before you replaced the pipe?

Draino is going to ruin that new pipe you just put in.
