Clogged cold water in bath tub tap.

Having an issue with the Tap on a bath tub. It's one tap that controls both hot and cold water. I am not getting cold water out of it. Dismantled it but can't see any obstructions. What can I do without having to tear up the bathroom. Stumped. Thanks

Without knowing what brand and model you have it's almost impossible to give an answer, need more info.

I as braindead said, I also would wonder if you have galvanized pipe, and have you done anything with the plumbing recentaly?

I would turn off the water, pull the cartridge out, close the curtain and then turn the water on for a few seconds to let it purge itself out. if that dont work then we need to get technical

I agree, shut off the hot water at the water tank, shut off the main water and dismantle the valve. if you get cold water coming out of the valve when you turn it back on, then its the cartridge. if nothing comes out you're gonna have to chase the water line back to something you know works and replace the stuff in question

If it's single handle, 90% chance it's the cartridge.

Clogged cold water in bath tub tap.

Thank you for the help. If it's the cartridge, can I get new one?
