clogged the boyfriends toilet... help?

I find that the best method for me is to position/angle for the best suction, then give it a good slow push down until it's just about bottomed out, and then push/pull in/out moving only about 1" or so, do that like a madman for a good 30 seconds, then with the last pull, you pull out hard for extra suction.

Unfortunately I have no advice about plunging a toilet

clogged the boyfriends toilet... help?

Miss;

I must admit you gave me a laugh. But, I know what your saying. Everytime my little granddaughter goes 9 times out of 10 I have to plunge the pot. One thing you can try is to get the plumber's helper (plunger) that has a horn effect on the bottom. It's not domed like one of those cheap red rubber ones. This type in made from a black rubber. The horn fits down into the trap (where the poo & paper is) better. When you plunge make sure you have a lot of water in the pot. Put your one hand flatly on the top of the stick & your other hand grip the stick firmly with it. This way you can put more force into the plunge than with just gripping the stick firmly with both hands on it. Also when you are plunging vigoriously you must remember this rule that I am going to tell you. This is one time where you must learn to keep your mouth shut.
In my 38 years as a Journeyman Pipefitter I have plunged God's knows how many pots. You can usually get it unclogged that way. It sometimes takes lots of water & time.
But, during all those years as a Pipefitter I "NEVER" put drano or acid in a pot! It could heat up to the point where the closet could explode. It has happened. Your lucky. You say it has happened to you before. Yes, it has happened to me as well, because I had to go in to where the homeowner didn't know any better & did that. I don't care what the can says, just don't do it. Getting burned on your hands is bad enough, but you only get one pair of eyes. And, you wouldn't want to scar your beautiful face, would you? And, I don't even know you. Or how you look.
If you can't get it unclogged that way, the next thing to try is to use a closet auger. It is one of the main things to use if all else fails. You can buy one at any hardware store, Lowes, Home Depot & etc. It comes with instructions on how to use it.
Miss, if that doesn't work. Tell your boyfriend, unless you want to tackle the job.The next thing that you have to do, if none what I have told you works is. You have to pull the closet off of the floor. Closet= toilet.
Then that's more instructions.
