Clawfoot tub value??Different parts of the country??

I have an old clawfoot tub in pretty good decent shape for its age. one side never even painted,,raw cast.

At a local garage sale,,,one guy said(I know easy to say) that on either coast the tub would bring $14-1500 dollars.

"IF" thats the case,,I could USE a vacation, find a few to throw in back of pickup and make it pay for cost of too expensive fuel??? AND enjoy some winter sunshine,,,when its 30 below here!!!

so question of the day,,,what do cast iron claw foot tubs bring in 'your' area these days??Thanks-d-

If I am removing it from your home, I'll only charge $250 but you have to fix the hole in the wall.

If you are buying, I suppose I could let one go for $1500.

I have heard similar tales for quite awhile but it is like the Corvetted that had a dead body in it. Nobody can actually name somebody that was part of a deal like that.
