Chlorinating a 2" water well
I just had my 2" water well reworked with a new above ground pump and motor as well as new jets and leather seal in the bottom of the well. The casing is 2" with a smaller pipe run inside the 2" casing that has the jet and leather seal attached to the end. This is the old style well before the current 4" well became the standard. Since it was reworked I now have a coliform problem and need to chlorinate the well but can only find how to do a 4" well. There is nothing on the internet that I can find that explains how to treat one of these old 2" types. I just spent $1200 dollars getting it reworked and can't use it. Does anyone know how to treat one of these old 2" wells? The well is 90' deep, water level @ 43' and output is 8GPM.
Any help would be great.
