Cheapest way to get 4in PVC pipe

I am trying to build a hydroponic system out of 4in PVC pipe. Is there any kind of pipe I could buy that would be cheaper than normal drain pipe?

I've heard they make thinner PVC, but I can't seem to find it. $15 doesn't sound like much, but when you are talking about buying 50 pieces, thats damn near $800.

You're not talking about this are you?

I thought about using corrugated tubing, would be a lot cheaper and save money in fittings, but it would take a lot more support and seemed like it might leak.

Thanks. I think I might try a plumbing supply house tomorrow, or 84 lumber.

Sucks because you don't really getting a break by buying in bulk. If HD makes $2 selling a $5 fitting, that's not really bad, but when you need 40 fittings, that's $80 they make, profit, just on one item.

Just think about all the money you'll make from your hydroponic garden. What's a few grand on pipe and fittings?
