Change wax ring on toilet have problem

Changed the wax ring on my toilet because it was leaking a little. When I did leak stopped, but toilet won't flush. When it does flush it bubbles up and gurgles in the shower drain. I know this has symptoms of a vent problem, but this happened when I changed the wax ring. It flushed fine before that. What's going on here?

How old are your kids?

Did you shove a rag in there to stop the odor and forget to remove it?

Change wax ring on toilet have problem

I took the toilet off the drain and snaked it. It flushes better but still makes a slight bubble sound in tub. I think you where right it had a clog. I think it might be still blogged a little. I didn't use a rag to cover hole. Maybe I should have.

Next if you can, snake the vents. Also snake the toilet itself.

Look on the bottom of the toilet .
You may have a big ugly hunk of the old wax ring on there.
