Default Ceiling Mounted Shower Head

I am in the midst of remodeling the bathroom. The walls has been exposed to the bare bones. I want to install a ceiling mounted shower head. Before doing so, I need the following questions answered:

- Should I pitch the plumbing so the water does not sit in the pipe when turned off?
- When running the plumbing, should I treat this any different as if I running new plumbing behind the wall?
- Since the water pipe will be mounted between the attic insulation and drywall, should I use an insulator to prevent sweating on the drywall?

If I missed something, please feel free to address it. I am hoping to tackle this ASAP! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No. Wont matter.

Nope.

Wont hurt but really not needed.

Its a great shower thing having it from the ceiling. I would also recommend another shower control for a wall mounted shower massage with long hose. Easy add in and wont cost too much more.

How to Cut Drywall by Expert Village

Sometimes, you can use a keyhole saw to cut out this. But, I like to use just a regular utility knife. And, you don't have to cut it all the way through. You just scar through the paper and as deep as you can get into the drywall. And, then I usually... Read More »
