Can't turn back yard water off

I have a sprinkler in the back yard that is leaking. I've tried replacing the head and was going to try to rebuild the valve. I shut the main water valve at the front of the house and check to ensure the water was off, all the taps in house house go dry. I went to the back yard, still has running water to the sprinkler and all of the taps in the yard still flow freely. I've look all around the house and can't figure out what is going on. It seems as though there is another main water line feeding the backyard but I can't seem to locate it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Can't turn back yard water off

Crawl space or basement? Just go under there and look where the sill cocks go through the foundation and trase it back.
