can you identify this brand of diverter valve

My shower is a three knober and the diverter valve was leaking like crazy. After spending all day trying to get it out I have it out and it's not like anything I have seen in the big box stores for a replacement. I am hoping that someone can tell me what brand it is and what would be recommended for a direct replacement. I am willing to pull the hot and cold water inards also as I think they are both about 20 years old and I know for a fact that the hot water needs a washer anyway. And yes I did cut it down to get a 5/8 in deepwell socket on it and a breaker bar because it was stuck that bad.

Thats what I was going to do but the guys at the home depot aren't the sharpest pencils in the box so far and I have been back and forth 5 times on bad advice from them. Just was hoping someone could give me a brand so I can at least be semi smart on what I am looking for.

I don't know if it will help, just a suggestion, but you can try this catalog. Hold your diverter up and try to match it up with something in the catalog. It has all different types of brands. Check out page 13, looks pretty close.

Or you can ask Tom. He is a stem, faucet, and diverter specialist. email him with your pic at; tom@faucetstems.com. or check out his link: click on ask Tom to help you. Maybe he can identify the brand and maker for you.

Hope you can find something you can use for the time being. Unfortunately, if you can't find something to replace it, you may have to go all new. Another option, when you do finally identify the brand/maker and they no longer support it, or you can't find it anywhere, you can try ebay.com, they sell everything old and new. It worked for me a couple of times.
