I'm going to be laying an additional layer of 3/4" BC ply in my second floor bathroom but I want to do it the right way. Should I cut the ply to fit around this flange or can it be removed and replaced without having to cut the existing subfloor? L

Is there any access below the floor?
The right way is to cut off the pipe, remove the screws holding it in and slide it out.
Then use a Fernco to reconnect once the subfloors in place.
