Question

Can I use a low heel 90 on it's side?

I want to use my low heel 90 on it's side. Can anyone verify that this is allowed? Here is a photo. The outlet is extending to the main 4 in drain pipe that is 15 ft away. This is for a new install of a half bath in the master bedroom. The vent is being vented right out the roof.

Usually your closet bend drains into the stack which goes through the roof and is vented that way.

Stay tuned, "E" and ghost will be along shortly, experts on the upc/ipc plumbing codes, they will tell you if it's legal or allowed in your area.

Not under UPC
The vent must be above the centerline of the drain

Sent from my iPhone using DIY Forum. Watch out for spell check

Nope You cannot do that under IPC either. I think China might approve that. Do you have a bathroom sink or tub/shower somewhere?

Think about what your planning to use. Now thing about feces. How long before your vent is blocked is the question?
