buying a toilet
any recommendations on a good one to buy? i have heard the "low-flow" ones dont work very well and clog all the time.

You're right! It is impossible to get anything except a water saver toilet in my area. All the new homes will not pass inspection without them. The idea is to get a toilet with a power gravity trap. It makes better use of the water already available.

Toto toilet with the g-max flush system. I have one and it works very well.:) 1.6 GPF and is just about unstopable. You will be surprised how well it works. I was.:)

I installed a Toto yesterday, pretty impressive.

Last month I installed a shower with 9 heads, good to know that we're saving water where it counts.

We had to replace an old toilet and were very concerned about the new ones out there, especially since we had done some of the plumbing ourselves. Figuring we weren't going to be in Canada anytime soon, we opted for what was out there. At that point I was just looking for a toilet that didn't have the gooseneck showing (for cleaning ease) and we ended up with a very inexpensive Crane and I'm impressed. Works as well as our other old guzzler we still have.
