Buried utilities
Installing an "outdoor kitchen" and would like to run water lines, electrical and propane line. I know that the water lines need to 3 feet deep (below frost line) and the gas line needs to go at least 18 inches deep.
My plan is to dig a single trench with the water lines in the bottom, electrical at about 2 ft deep and the gas at 18 inches. Can anyone tell me if there is an issue with the spacing i.e. does electrical need to be farther than a foot away from water lines or more than 6 inches from propane line? I was going to run electrical in 3/4" pvc conduit. |

According to my code it states, as long as the material your using can be used inside the foundation of a structure they can be in the same trench. Propane gas line I'm not sure of.
