Broken trip lever in tub
The trip lever on my tub's drain snapped off. I don't think it even worked to begin with. I am thinking that I will just unscrew the two screws and buy a replacement cover with the guts. Are these difficult to replace? or should I be consulting a plumber?

Broken trip lever in tub
Easy fix.
Just unscrew the two bolts and lift, wiggle and pull out the assembly. If the assembly looks good and you can clean and lube it, just replace the trip lever, cover and bolts, and attach the old stopper assembly with a cotter pin to it. Good Luck! Mike |
