broken snake tip

zvegge Newbie   Join Date: Dec 2012 Posts: 2	broken snake tip My washing machine drain was clogged. I rented a snake and snaked it. The tip of the snake broke. It is draining now. Is it BAD to leave the tip in there or do I need to call someone to get it out.

At some point it may give you some issues, then again maybe not. I've seen broken cables left in main lines for extended periods. Sometimes people get away with it forever and sometimes it cause nothing but problems if paper and waste start collecting on it and it builds up and eventuality clogs.
