Bringing Rheem tankless into Canada
Hi there,
I'm thinking of buying a Rheem high effic tankless unit in Montana and bringing into Canada on a cross border trip (for my home). EcoH 160 DVN. Why? Only the mid efficiency is sold in Canada. Does anyone know if there are any problems with this plan? I live in Alberta. Thanks |

Only one possible problem and that is three letters, CSA. Make sure the unit is approved for use in Canada before you purchase, it should also be CGA certified if it is gas.

I called rheem and they had no clue. They sent me a manual for " 94% condensing tankless water heater." even though the 160H isn't listed. It must be the same though.
It has the CSA blue flame, the star, and a water droplet inside a circular arrow I haven't seen. HD web says its UL-1 which I don't understand. |
