blue toilet bowl cleaner problem

My wife and I just recently bought a house where the previous owners used those things. The problem is that the house sat empty for about a year or so with the blue toilet water sitting in the bowl. The blue stuff has now permanently stained the bowl and won't come off with regular cleaners. What type of cleaner will get rid of the blue ring.

A cleaner called "The Works" first then a Prumis stone should get most of it off.

Hey yea, I've used "the works" before. I bought a container of that stuff at the Dollar General in Deltaville, not far from where you are. That stuff took the hard water stains right off of my RV toilet. (You guys have some terrible well water down that way!) Next time I'm out that way, I'll pick up some!

Where are you now?
Ya you could boil water and have enough iron left over to make nails around here.
No water softner, stained toilets and tubs.
Any Dollar store in the area has it. Mathews, Glouchester. Even Wal-Mart has it.

I live in Richmond, but i frequent the Deltaville area often during the summer for boating activities. I know that water well down there....lots of sulfur in it too!

It is easier to just buy a new toilet and be done with it.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?
