blue or red pipe for radiator supply


should i use blue 1.5" pipe for radiator supply (only hot water - no steam) or is red sufficient ?

fine (metal) or coarse (wood) ? or something third ?

I would never recommend pvc for boiler water capable of being over 200f. Copper or iron.
