hi,
i asked this before, but didnt need to replace the hot water heater after all. now, my gf's mothers hot water heater went on the blink, and i have to look at it in a day or so, so just in case i have to replace it. plz, tell me if this is the correct way to bleed the system. turn water on to heater, and at the same time have the hot water in kitchen sink turned wide open, watch til i get a steady flow of water, then shut off, check for leaks, and turn on hot water heater.
