I want to put a wall infront of a furnace.The B vent pipe is in the front so I only have app3 inches to the combustable material can it be done????

hi there, biff was it? lol i guess my first question would be why would you put a wall in front of the furnace? what if it breaks down? tear down the wall to fix it?

I should have said a wall across the top with sliding doors below.The doors would only clear the Bvent pipe by about 3 inches
|

i have 3" between my furnace and the drywall, and it passed inspection, so i'd have to say you're PROBABLY good to go. there may be other circumstances unknown at this point though.
