Best Septic Pipe

We are setting up our setting up our new house soon, and am planning the septic system.
What drain pipe is best to the tank and for the leach? 4in of course, but I was looking into the Foamcore Sched 40 PVC as it is much cheaper than the solid pvc, but was worried about the strength.

Best Septic Pipe

You did not say where you live. Local code is going to dictate exactly what type of pipe you are allowed to use. Check with your local septic inspector before you install, it is such a PITA to have to remove unapproved pipe when they come to see the system.

Are you sure there even going to let you design your own system?
I know in my area I'd be facing a big fine even if I did a repair without jumping through some hoops.
I would never use anything less then Sch. 40 PVC, Sch. 80 if it's going to be driven over.
PVC is so cheap there's little since trying to cheap out.

Yeah see what the city/cty will allow in your area,I actually had to get a master septic installers license through the dept enviromental quality even with a master plumbers license(big rip off!)
Anyway you might even be able to use sdr26 or 35 just depends on your area.

I guess I didn't realize that a lot of places use septics in the city, not near here though lol.
Anyway there is really no code since this is out on a ranch in texas and more than enough acres to allow me to do it myself, so anything goes.
