bathtub recommendations

Hi: I am doing a renovation of a 1959 bathroom ..and am contemplating the different tubs...cast iron, americast, bootzcast, or acrylic...any recommendations here???...is cast iron that much better than the rest??

Cast iron is tops for a long useful life---Americast is O.K. until you drop a level and chip it.

Acrilics need to be handled with kid gloves--
