Bathtub plumbing

Hi all,

I am buying an old home (60+ years), and plan to add a new liner to the tub. This got me thinking about the plumbing to/from the tube. Is there something that I could do to check to make sure it is in good working order? There does not appear to be any problems, but maybe now that we are doing something to the tub is a good time to investigate. Any ideas?

Thanks!

-Steve
