bathtub access panel

i was wondering what a good or standard size for a bathtub access panel would be. i plan to put it in the room on the other side of the wall against the drain. the tub is a regular 30x60x14.25.

bathtub access panel

14x12 or 14x16 works well---They are a handy addition but not really needed

See what size plastic port covers are available and make the hole to fit it---that will save you some work.
