Maybe I was a bit harsh... Take the piping under the sink apart, look inside with a flashlight. Normally, you'll see a double san tee. Straight across will be the other sink, up is the vent, and down is the drain. You have to put a bend in the cable and make it go down the drain. If you look in there and its a 90, you're out of luck. I normally cut into the wall and add a cleanout on the vent
