Bathroom Sink Aerator

Our bathroom sink needs a new aerator. However, the aerator is frozen solid. I have tried using calcium and lime remover, which removed some of the calcium build up, but didn't loosen it. I've also tried WD40 and pliers, neither of which worked.

Yes, I'm turning the correct direction of counter clockwise.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get it loose? I'd rather not have to replace the whole faucet.

Thanks in Advance.

Bathroom Sink Aerator

Well, there is your problem. Put a pair of channel locks on it and turn clockwise looking down. CCW on something screwed up at you tightens it.

Worked. Thanks for the tip. Seem another couple of turns got it loose. Cleaned out, put back together and good as new.
