bathroom double lav venting

I'm installing 2 lavs/sinks on a 54 inch double vanity. Is each lav/sink required to have its own separate (1-1/4) p-trap, or can I connect them together with 1 (1-1/2) p-trap before they connect to the 1-1/2 waste stack? My municipality uses 2006 Nat Standard Plbg Code.

thank you

bathroom double lav venting

I prefer to have each sink individually trapped, but they can run to a common drain/vent in the middle. my code says 1 1/4" for each drain, 1 1/2" for the common drain and vent (UPC) make sure the trap arm isn't more than 2'6" if you use 1 1/4" pipe. Most ppl use 1 1/2", trap arm can be 3'6"
