Bathrm tub hot water pressure stinks

The hot water that comes out of the tub faucet has very little pressure.
It just dribbles out. When I first moved in it was not the greatest but has suddenly gotten worse. The cold is fine and the hot/cold water from the sink is fine. Please help! I would like to take a normal shower :-)

There is a handle for the hot and one for the cold with the switch from tub to shower in the middle.

Well i am a pool guy with alot of plumbing experience, now with that said if it is the only place in the house where the hot water is not flowing properly especially if the sink in that washroom is flowing good hot water then it has to be a filter screen or cartridge on your tap setup that is clogged as the abolve poster mentioned.

Sounds like a great place to start. Now I am a first time home buyer and a woman (blonde, no less), but I'm not afraid of fixing things if I can. That said, can you tell me where I might find the filter screen or cartridge. If it was on a sink faucet that would be obvious, but the tub faucet is another matter.

Well i love to see a blonde DIy"er....lol Ok first you will need to shut off the water supply if you are going to dismantle the taps,if you could post what taps you have me maybe able to pull up a online guide specific to your setup. Now i have these issues cause i am on a well and this is very common as anyone on a well has mineral issues. If you can see a screw on face of the tap to remove the knob then most likely that is where you willstart, then a wrench or grips most likelywill be needed to remove the part behind the knob. remember i am speculating as there are so many ways a cartridge (filter) are placed inline.Maybe post us up some more info.

Sounds like a job I can handle. Although, something I need to roll my sleeves up for tomorrow. 5am comes to quickly. Will begin the adventure after work. Thank you so much. Will update after I get the tap off.
