basement utility sink install
Hello, I want to install a utility sink in my basement next to an existing pvc drain stack. There is a cleanout about a foot above the basement floor. I was wondering if I could remove the cleanout and install a tee (sanitary tee?) and put the cleanout back in above the tee. From the tee I was thinking about putting in a AAV between the sink and the tee. Also I was wondering how I reconnect the drain pipe after cutting it since both ends of the pipe are fixed (not moveable). Thanks...

If AAV are allowed there, then I don't see why not.

Thanks. What about connecting the pipe back together at the top? I'm assuming you can't use a regular coupler since the pipe pieces won't move.
