Basement Utility sink

I want to install one but the pipe leaving my house to the septic system is 3.5' above the basement floor (too high to drain the sink into by gravity). I've been told someone makes a combo plastic utility sink on legs with a sump/pump below - any advice on where to get these or if they are a good choice? Hot & cold water taps and the s-trap from the previous basement laundry are available for use (laundry was moved upstairs). The S-trap is 5' above the basement floor and drains into the main pipe to the septic system. Can the sink pump discharge into this?

Basement Utility sink

www.saniflo.com . Try this for a Sanipump.
And yes, you should be able to use the old washer drain and supply lines for a utility sink. You don't need an S trap. Use a P trap.
Good luck!

Basement Utility sink

You could also put a sink on a platform, with a P-trap. If the drain is 3.5' up, the sink would need to be about 4' up. Might be a little weird, but it could work if you have good headroom in the basement. Just make a step up to the sink.

Otherwise you'll need to use a pump-up system, to move the wastewater up into the waste line.
