Basement Remodel: Putting in a wet bar

We're going to be building a new house soon and I have the option to rough in for a wet bar in the basement. However, we're not going to finish the basement right away. It will have a rough in for a bathroom. Would it be hard to add plumbing later for a wet bar and save some money now? Or should I have it roughed in?

Put it in now. Make sure the plumber supplies a vent for the basement plumbing too and sizes the water accordingly- everything should be sized for any future work anticipated.

Basement Remodel: Putting in a wet bar

I have a friend with a wet bar in the living room within a 5 or 6' wide closet with bifold doors. There is just a sink, a small refrigerator, and a bit of counterspace with shelving above.

I've always liked the set up. You can close the doors and it is gone.

All you need is a drain for the sink and some supply lines.
