Basement drain: No P trap

When we moved into our home ~2 years ago, I capped off two basement floor drains that lack a P-trap. I can look straight down the drain about 8-10 inches to where it meets the pipe that leads to our stack. Our house is about 60 years old and these drains were part of the original construction.

My solution for the past two years was simply to cap these. However our basement just took ~4 inches of rain water after a gutter downspout disconnected in a storm and discharged directly into a window well. I would have had a fraction of the water damage had these drains been open.

I'm almost certain the answer is no but I'm wondering if there are any products on the market that would allow me to restore the drains without tearing up the concrete floor? (i.e. a drain with some sort of one-way gasket that allows water in but not gas out)

Basement drain: No P trap

Are you sure the floor drains have no drains. Back in the day, they used to install whole house traps or in-line traps for that type install.
