Barney4 Newbie Join Date: Aug 2011 Posts: 1	Basement Bathroom Ejector Pump In 2002 I installed a (Home Depot) Flotec- Add- a- John 1/2HP in my basement. The sewer line is abut 5' above the basement floor.Since than I have had to replace the pump twice. Is this the norm for this type of unit? Should I replace it with only a Flotec Pump? Or would I be better off just installing an in the ground drum for less headaches, and if so how would I have to allign the plumbing from the shower and sink that also attached to the pump (everything is in a 7'7 room)?
